"I think we all need to continue learning about African American history because there is still racism in our society today. When some people say that racism doesn't exist today I look at events like the shooting in Charlottesville, and I just think 'well duh it does'. I think we can all learn a lesson from African American history so it just won't be repeated down the road" said Hardin. WKU sophomore Kenan Mujkanovic, travels to Bosnia roughly every 5 years with his family. Mujkanovic's mother and father were both born and raised in Bosnia, and their homes have suffered damages due to the war in Bosnia. "Things are better than they once were," Mujkanovic said. Mujkanovic was born and raised in Bowling Green. "I got to see where home used to be. Everyone treats you like family," Mujkanovic said.

Larry Deaton, 69, started the catering business of Mount Victor Warehouse with his wife for 11 years. They do catering for any event with a large gathering. For some people they are known for their concerts from different musicians and bands. "We both love music and follow it," said Deaton. "It's what we did in our vacations. We go places like New York or New Orleans and watch artists and follow them. A lot of people start here to grow and we always like to see them move up."
