Sally Ray has declined the interim dean of Potter College of Arts and Letters position, according to Bob Skipper, WKU’s director of media relations.

Ray, the former chancellor of WKU’s Glasgow campus, was named as the interim in an email sent to faculty by Provost Terry Ballman on Tuesday. Ballman announced that Larry Snyder was resigning from the position effective Wednesday in that same email.

Skipper said Academic Affairs will release more information on Monday.

When the Herald attempted to contact Provost Terry Ballman, a receptionist in her office said she is out of town. She could not be immediately reached for comment.
