Police have arrested a WKU student on campus earlier this week for alleged sexual contact with a minor.

WKU Police arrested 20-year-old Niles Woods outside of Southwest Hall Monday afternoon. Woods was taken to Warren County Regional Jail and was issued a $5,000 cash bond. He has since been released.

Woods was indicted by a grand jury for unlawful use of electronic means originating or received within the Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities, 1st degree sexual abuse and tampering with physical evidence.

WKU Police Public Information Officer Tim Gray said any information on Woods’ trial is still pending.
