Laura Groff and her husband Brian tried to have children when they got married but went through 6 miscarriages. Eventually Laura was able to become pregnant and have a boy who they named Oscar. At the same time they were approved to adopt a baby girl, Mia. Now the kids come to Laura’s shop, Native Twist, after school. Laura found knitting helped her get through the miscarriages and later opened a shop in downtown Mt. Sterling.
