Amanda Trabue will step down as of June 30 as WKU’s vice president for philanthropy and alumni engagement, President Timothy Caboni announced on Wednesday.
Trabue will be leaving WKU to accept a fundraising consulting position at BWF, a firm that aids philanthropy within higher education and nonprofits.
A two-time graduate of WKU, Trabue returned to her alma mater in 2019 through her role as a member of the President’s cabinet. During her time, Trabue has helped lead fundraising efforts for WKU.
Anthony McAdoo, the assistant vice president for constituent engagement and philanthropy, will serve as interim as WKU begins its search to fill Trabue’s position.
“I am grateful for Amanda’s service to WKU and wish her the very best in this new endeavor,” said Caboni in an email to WKU faculty and staff.
The Herald reached out to Trabue, but received no response by the time of publication.
