The WKU men’s basketball team is on the brink of history as they play the University of Utah Tuesday tonight in the semifinal of the NIT in New York.

WKU and Utah tip off at 6 p.m. CST in Madison Square Garden in New York City. The game will be televised on ESPN. With a win, the Hilltoppers will play the winner of Mississippi State University and Penn State University in the championship on Thursday night.

If you weren’t able to carpool it to New York, or grab a flight up there in time, you’re still in luck because several places are hosting watch parties tonight. 

Here are a few places we’ve seen so far, but please let us know of more so we can continue to update this list. 

Downing Student Union is, of course, the hub of student activity and they’ll be celebrating with game day specials from Papa John’s Pizza.

Buffalo Wild Wings, 1760 Scottsville Road, will also be hosting.

If you’re outside of Bowling Green, there are several events being held by the Alumni Association for our friends in Kentucky and elsewhere. 

Double Dog’s, at 1780 Scottsville Road, will be broadcasting the game this evening. They hosted a watch party for the second round of the NIT.

We can always count on Hilligan’s to provide us with Hilltopper basketball, and they don’t let down this time either. And don’t worry, trivia is still on for tonight.

Our newest Bowling Green bar, Cliffs of Moher Irish Pub, is also hosting a watch party. Specials for the game will be $2 domestic cans $2.50 domestic bottles and $3 domestic well drinks. 

Mister B’s Pizza and Wings, 1945 Scottsville Road, will also be hosting a watch party this evening.
