WKU and Navitas agree to mutual termination of affiliation

In an email sent Tuesday to faculty and staff, President Gary Ransdell announced that WKU and Navitas have agreed to a mutual termination of their affiliation agreement effective mid-January.

In the email, Ransdell said this decision comes from ongoing discussions over the last few months with Navitas officials, discussions with the Board of Regents and with Navitas Group CEO Rod Jones.

The mutual termination marks the end of a five-year partnership with Navitas.

“While we appreciate our partnership with Navitas, international recruiting dynamics have changed significantly over the past five years,” Ransdell said in the email. “We will continue to diligently recruit fully admissible international students while providing a WKU pathway program for those who might need to enhance their ability to be successful.”
