Two former WKU football players received news Friday regarding their NFL futures.

Running back Bobby Rainey was signed by the Baltimore Ravens to a free-agent contract, while cornerback Derrius Brooks was released by the Cincinnati Bengals after failing his physical.

Rainey, one of 19 undrafted free-agents signed by the Ravens, is in Baltimore right now participating in the team’s rookie mini camp.

Brooks was one of four Bengals rookies cut Friday for failing a physical.
