WKU Football secures four new commits

WKU Football nabbed four new commits on Monday, including three for the Hilltoppers’ 2022 roster.

The first commit of the day was defensive back Noah Lamothe from Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He stands at six-foot-two and weighs in at 197 pounds. MaxPreps has ranked Lamothe as the 2,667rd best high school player in the nation and 33rd best in Kentucky.

The next commit and first for the 2022 class was Dixie Heights High School offensive lineman Evan Wibberley. The Fort Mitchell, Kentucky native stands at 6’5 and weighs 280 pounds. According to Rivals, Wibberley had seven Division 1 offers including three C-USA offers from Marshall, FIU and MTSU.

Beechwood High School’s six-foot-five, 290 pound offensive lineman Luke Slusher was the third to commit. The Fort Mitchell, Kentucky native committed to WKU over the likes of Air Force, Eastern Michigan and C-USA rival Marshall.   

Robert F. Monroe High School multi-position athlete Wyatt Sullivan also committed to WKU. The 2022 recruit stands at six-foot-five and weighs 205 pounds. Sullivan is ranked as a three-star prospect according to Rivals and 24/7sports. The Florida native is ranked the 214th best wide receiver in his class and 208th player overall in Florida. Sullivan committed to play on the Hill over six other teams including two C-USA rivals in Charlotte and FAU.
