The Associated Press announced Thursday WKU wideout Jerreth Sterns was named to the AP All-Bowl Team for his performance in the Boca Raton Bowl.

Sterns caught 13 passes for 184 yards and three scores on the way to a 59-38 blowout win over Appalachian State on Dec. 18. He was one of two Group of Five players to make the list, joining Fresno State running back Jordan Mims.

Sterns finished his one and only year on the Hill with 150 receptions for 1,902 yards and 17 touchdowns. He was nine catches short of the FBS single-season reception record. He led the nation in receptions, yards and touchdowns.

Sterns declared for the NFL Draft on Dec. 19. His collegiate career is not yet over as he will play in the East-West Shrine Bowl on Feb. 3 at 4 p.m. CT.
