The Potter College of Arts and Letters is holding its Spring Forward Festival in Fountain Square Park from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, April 9.

“We’re doing this event to get out into the BG community, show appreciation for it and to connect our students with the world around them,” Madeline Miller, a PCAL ambassador, said.

The festival will feature egg hunts, giveaways, free t-shirts for the first 50 guests and live performances from different PCAL students. There will also be tables with activities from every PCAL department, except for the Department of Political Science.

“People should attend this event for a few reasons, but my top one is that it’s going to be a lot of fun,” Miller said. “We’re having performances from tons of different PCAL students, we’re offering face painting and an egg hunt for younger Hilltoppers and we’re involving local businesses through giveaways.”

The event is free and open to the public. According to the event’s website, guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to watch the various performances. The site states the festival will continue “rain or shine.”
