SGA fall elections open for voting

The Student Government Associations fall elections are now open on TopNet from Sept.19 until Sept. 20 at midnight. 

To vote, go into TopNet, log in, click on the SGA election link on the home screen, access the ballot, fill it out and hit “Submit votes for Verification.”

Voting for the Student Government Association’s fall election is currently open on TopNet.

Positions to be elected include three freshman senators, one graduate senator, one Gatton Academy senator and one international student senator. 

“Students should take time to vote in the fall elections, SGA functions to represent the entire student body and voting ensures that students’ voices are heard,” SGA President Cole Bornefeld said via email. “The Freshman, Gatton, International, and Graduate Senator play a vital role in continuing our strong commitment to Hilltoppers.”

Candidates for freshman senator include Braden Clough, Chloe Douglas, Salvador León Golib, Rhett Helland, Peyton Hess, Ashtyn Hines, Callison Padgett, Grace-Anne Pruitt, John Rains, Rush Robinson and Jackson Taylor.

Candidates for Gatton Academy senator include Caden Lucas, Neel Patel and Livi Ray.

Candidates for graduate student senator include Arpana Lakhmani and ShyAnte’e Williams.

Candidates from international student senator include Salvador León Golib and Arpana Lakhmani.
