The Lady Toppers hosted the New Mexico State Aggies Friday Night at the WKU Soccer Complex for Senior Night.  In the final match of the regular season, they fell in a tight one 1-0.

It was a stalemate throughout the game.  Both teams were swinging but neither team could put the ball into the net.  The Aggies were finally able to score in the 75th minute, sealing the game, the Conference USA regular season title and the first seed in the conference.  WKU outshot the Aggies 18-12 and nine to six on shots on goal.  WKU had three in the game’s first five minutes.

Sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Davis had five saves.

Following the other matchups in conference play, the Lady Toppers will find out their seeding for the C-USA tournament and the bracket will be revealed after the final match Sunday.  The tournament will take place in Ruston, Louisiana.
