The WKU community is mourning the loss of Abigail Nash, who passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Nash was entering her final semester at WKU, working towards a bachelor of science in marketing with an emphasis in graphic design, as stated in her obituary

During her time at WKU, Nash was a member of the Mahurin Honors College. She was also part of the Cherry Creative publication as a member of their design staff.

“Abby’s light will shine forever in our hearts as we think about her luminous spirit, her warm heart, and her bright smile that brought everyone who knew her such joy,” her obituary states.

Nash’s celebration of life ceremony will be held in conjunction with a final birthday party for her, on Feb. 23, 2024, with more information to come.

Instead of flowers, the family is welcoming donations to the Maryhurst or Caron Treatment Center, which are advocates for youth mental health.

WKU students in need of assistance over winter break can reach out to the Life Skills Crisis line in Bowling Green at 270-843-4357.
