Bowling Green police made an arrest Wednesday evening following a shooting Tuesday in the parking lot of the Muse Bowling Green apartments on Russellville Road.

Donovan Jordan, 23 of Bowling Green, was taken into custody by the Tennessee Highway Patrol on I-40 in Tennessee and charged with assault, first degree. Jordan is being held in the Henderson County Jail in Tennessee and awaiting extradition, according to a news release posted on the BGPD Facebook page.

Kylien Baker and Devin Miles, both WKU students, were shot in the incident Tuesday night and taken to regional hospitals.

According to the police report, Jordan and Baker got into an argument in the Muse BG parking lot. Miles heard the dispute and went outside to confront Jordan, the report said, and Jordan then shot Baker and Miles.

Jordan fled before police arrived, the report said.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected, according to the Facebook post.
