WKU Men’s Basketball Graduate forward Tyrone “Woo” Marshall Jr., who entered the transfer portal on April 1st, announced his intentions to move from Bowling Green to the nation’s capital on his Instagram on Wednesday, joining the George Washington University Revolutinaries.
The 6-foot-7 Nashville native saw action in all 32 games of the 2024-2025 season with the Hilltoppers, starting in 29 while averaging 28.7 minutes.
Marshall saw elevated minutes after senior forward Babacar Faye went down with a season-ending knee injury against Murray State on Dec. 14. Last season, Marshall averaged 6.6 rebounds per game, sixth in Conference USA, along with 10.4 points per game.
After playing a season at Colby Community College, Marshall moved to the Hill for his sophomore year. He first saw the court wearing a WKU uniform as a junior and has played in every Hilltopper matchup since.
