WKU Men’s Basketball senior guard Don McHenry announced his commitment to the University of Utah on Monday afternoon on his Instagram.
McHenry was the Hilltoppers’ leading scorer in his two years on the Hill, earning an All-CUSA First-Team selection in 2023-24 and an All-CUSA Second-Team selection in the 2024-25 season.
Through the 2024-25 season, he averaged 17 points per game, becoming the fifth-leading scorer in Conference USA. During conference play, he had only one game below double digits and seven performances eclipsing 20 points, including a 30-point outing against Kennesaw State on Feb. 6.
The Hilltoppers were just 3-6 in games when McHenry scored below 15 and did not win a single game when McHenry scored below 12. McHenry will get another chance to carry a team as he joins a Utes team which went 16-17 in 2024-25 and 8-12 in conference, landing them 11th in the Big 12.
