All WKU campuses will be closed Monday and Tuesday, according to a WKU alert.
Fresh Food Company is open today from 10:30 a.m until 7 p.m, with hours subject to change, according to a WKU Restaurant Group Instagram post. All other campus locations are currently closed. As of the time of posting, the WKU Restaurant Group has not posted any hour changes for Monday and Tuesday.
The cancellation comes after the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning Sunday at 4 a.m for several regions of Kentucky that is expected to last until 6 a.m on Monday, Jan. 26. An update from the Louisville NWS office this afternoon reported additional expected accumulations up to one inch through the early evening.
The National Weather Service advised the public to delay travel due to dangerous road conditions. Power outages and tree damage are also likely.
