All 33 WKU Greek chapters gathered together in E.A. Diddle Arena on Sunday as members awaited the results of the Greek Week festivities. Ultimately, sorority Kappa Delta and fraternity Alpha Gamma Rho came out on top, gaining the most combined points from each individual category.
For senior psychology major and Kappa Delta member Emma Thomas, the experience was both a matter of teamwork and leadership. Thomas served as her sorority’s banner committee head, tasked with designing the blueprint of and organizing the competition banner.
“…I have been working on the Kappa Delta banners for my entire Kappa Delta journey, so finally having a first place while I was head of the committee felt so rewarding after so many years of hard work and learning and developing my craft,” Thomas said.

Thomas reflected upon the week with a blend of nerves and gratefulness for the experience while waiting to hear the results.
“As we went into convocation, we put all of our effort into God’s hands and knew that whatever happened, we did it for each other, and we did it for our sisterhood,” Thomas said.
The annual Convocation ceremony began with the granting of awards and scholarships to various Greek organizations and their members, including a First Generation, United in Sisterhood and NPHC-specific scholarships.

The event also included the announcement of its new Order of Omega members for the 2026-2027 school year. Order of Omega is a leadership honor society for members of Greek organizations in order to recognize personal character, leadership, and academic success, according to its website.
Later in the evening, WKU Panhellenic Council President Karlee Powell announced the final results of individual events and overall sweepstakes for Greek Week. The results are as follows:
