Mary Beth Tinker spoke in DSU to discuss first amendment rights with students. “You have issues that affect your life, whether that is the environment, college tuition, debt, racism. It’s a question of using the first amendment, and keeping it alive. Theres so much self censoring going on. When you care about an issue and you join with other’s on that issue life becomes very interesting, meaningful, and sometimes even fun,” Tinker said.
