Lady Toppers route Texas State 75-45

The Lady Toppers notched their fourth-straight convincing victory on Wednesday night in a 75-45 win over Texas State in San Marcos, Texas.

WKU (18-8, 10-5 Sun Belt Conference) has won each of its last four games by at least 26 points. The Lady Toppers now hold sole possession of second place in the Sun Belt standings.

WKU led Texas State 43-18 at halftime, which marks the fourth straight game the Lady Toppers have led by more than 20 points at the break.

Junior forward Chastity Gooch led the way for WKU with 15 points. Freshman forward Bria Gaines added 13 points and seven rebounds while senior guard Bianca McGee and sophomore guard Micah Jones combined for 23 points. Redshirt freshman guard Kendall Noble also added seven points, eight assists, seven steals and five rebounds.

The Lady Toppers continue their Texas road trip on Saturday against UT Arlington at 5:00 p.m. CT.
