The Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Football Championships will bring about 35,000 visitors to WKU Friday and Saturday, leading to several changes in campus parking.

According to a university press release, Parking Structure 2 (the commuter structure) and the Creason lot will be used for paid public parking all day Friday and Saturday.

Parking Structure 1 (the housing/non-premium structure) will be used for paid parking beginning at 3 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday.

The press release encouraged displaced commuter students to use other commuter lots on campus or the park and ride service from Campbell Lane. For Friday only, commuter students can also park in the Alumni Square Garage.

Housing students who normally park in Creason should look in other housing lots or Chestnut Street South lot.

Any cars not removed from Creason by 5 p.m. Thursday will be fined $100.
