The men of WKU’s Alpha Tau Omega colony will soon become a full-fledged ATO chapter.

The fraternity learned its petition to charter had officially gone through, meaning the ATO’s at WKU will now be recognized as the Zeta Omega chapter of the fraternity, according to the ATO Facebook page.

The first charter for the organization at WKU was in 1967 — the group reorganized as a colony in 2010.

The official charter day has not been announced, according to the page.
