Free concert tonight

Music will collaborate with one of the most familiar amendments of the U.S. Constitution tonight.

“Freedom Sings: A celebration of the First Amendment through words and music” will be held at 6:30 p.m. today in Van Meter Hall.

The program is free.

The show, produced by the First Amendment Center in Nashville, will feature songs from artists who have been censored including Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan. The program will feature recording artist Don Henry and writer and narrator Ken Paulson.

The presentation is sponsored by the Herald and the Glasgow Daily Times.
