National Weather Service issues Ice Storm Warning near WKU campuses

WKU students sled down the hill in front of Van Meter Hall on Feb. 15 after a snow and ice storm swept through Bowling Green leading WKU to cancel virtual and in-person classes.

The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning that includes all WKU campuses from 6 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3 until 6 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 4. 

As a result of the weather, WKU campus in Elizabethtown/Fort Knox and Owensboro will be closed tomorrow. If there are any additional closings, it will be announced through text, email or social media once those decisions are made.
