Former LSU, Auburn, and Texas State quarterback TJ Finley announced on Instagram Monday that he will transfer to WKU.

The Louisiana native started five games for the LSU Tigers during his freshman year, after his teammate, Myles Brennan, went down with an abdominal injury during the team’s week three game against Missouri. Finley would go 2-3 in his five starts with the Tigers before being sidelined for fellow freshman, Max Johnson.

After his stint at LSU, Finley announced a transfer to Auburn where he would go 2-4 in his six starts.

After his stay with Auburn, Finley took his talents  to Texas State. In his 13 games for the Bobcats, Finley threw for 3,439 yards, 24 touchdowns, and eight interceptions, leaving him with a 65.8 QB rating, the 47th best in the country.

Finley led the Bobcats to an 8-5 record, and capped his season off with a win over Rice in the First Responder Bowl.

It has yet to be announced who will start for the Hilltoppers in week one, as WKU also has Caden Veltkamp, the quarterback who led the Hilltoppers to a 28-0 comeback in the Famous Toastery Bowl.
