The Lady Toppers will look to shake off their devastating loss to Sam Houston on Saturday, as they travel on the road to play Middle Tennessee State.
Despite at one point having an 18-point lead, a defensive meltdown in the second half allowed the Bearkats to come back.
The Lady Toppers, who are now 13-9 (4-3 CUSA) will attempt to right the ship as they travel to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to play their rival Middle Tennessee State. Defense will be key in this game, as it will be difficult to outscore a team averaging almost 72 points per game. The team will need to stay out of foul trouble, as they have committed 24 or more fouls in their last two games. Knocking down three pointers against a hot offensive team will also be key. As a team, WKU averages 30.8% from three-point territory.
