WKU Baseball will face the No. 18 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Friday in the first round of the NCAA Oxford Regional, kicking off the Hilltoppers’ NCAA Tournament play. 

WKU and Georgia Tech are joined in the regional by No. 15 Ole Miss and Murray State. The winner of the double-elimination tournament will advance to the Super Regionals. 

The Hilltoppers are riding the momentum of their Conference USA Championship title after beating Jacksonville State 6-5 in 10 innings in the final. 

The Hilltoppers finished the regular season with a conference-high .316 team batting average and a conference-low 3.28 team ERA. 

The Yellow Jackets were the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season champions but fell 9-5 to Clemson in the ACC tournament semifinals.

The first pitch is set for 3:00 p.m. CT Friday at Swayze Field in Oxford, Mississippi. Fans can watch the game on ESPN+.
