WKU Student Government Association is aiming to allow easier access for student inquiries.
In one of two bills passed at SGA’s weekly meeting on Tuesday, the association will replace the current Hilltoppers’ concern form, which is buried behind five different links on WKU’s website homepage. The author of the bill, Jakob Barker, has plans to make the form a pop-up on the website, with the hope of making it easier to find.
Barker said it will help SGA in “lowering the barrier” for student contact.
“As SGA, we need to be focused on being a resource for our students,” Barker said.
The other bill passed at the meeting greenlit funding for a giveaway initiative to increase public engagement in SGA.

Students will be able to enter a raffle for a variety of prizes, including a speaker and a HydroJug, by following one of SGA’s social media accounts and completing an information form with their name, phone number and email address.
A table will be set up outside of DSU from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2 from 11 p.m. to 2 p.m. for students to enter the raffle.
The meeting also saw the swearing in of five new senators following the elections last week.
Jackson Smith, Carter Smith and Landon Terry were sworn in as freshman senators. Grace Ekrikpo was sworn in as an international senator and Ben Lee was sworn in as a Gatton senator.
