Folks and floats will display their holiday cheer during the 2025 Bowling Green-Warren County Jaycees Christmas Parade.
The theme this year is “The Best Christmas Parade Ever.” The parade will begin on College Street by Fountain Square Park at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The parade route travels up College Street for three blocks, turns on 12th Street, then back down State Street.
The Bowling Green-Warren County Jaycees are a branch of the United States Junior Chamber, a community organization that builds “business development, management skills, individual training, and community service” skills for 18 to 40-year-olds, according to their Facebook page.
All 121 parade entries will line up between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on College Street between the intersections of Main and Third streets.
The parade follows the Miracle on College Street Mile and Miracle 3:59, one-mile and quarter-mile run/walks presented by Life’s Better Together. Miracle 3:59 is a shorter race for athletes of all abilities, “specifically designed for those with a mental and/or physical disability,” according to the event listing. The race will begin at 9 a.m.
Pre-registered racers will enjoy a t-shirt, Santa hat, and finish line breakfast provided by M&L Electrical.
Awards will go to the top three male and female overall winners and the winner of each age group, which are spaced out by five years. The current record for the course is four minutes and 37 seconds, and a $100 cash prize will be awarded to anyone who surpasses the record.
