Individual COVID-19 cases are no longer being tracked by the university, according to David Oliver, director of environmental health and safety.

“Based on guidance from public health we are no longer tracking individual COVID-19 cases on campus. It is being treated like other illnesses. We still have KN95 masks available for anyone who wishes to utilize them,” Oliver said.

In a survey through the College Heights Herald’s Instagram, students responded to the question “Are you concerned about COVID-19 on campus?”. Out of 74 votes, 53% of students said yes, they are still concerned.

On May 11th, the federal government ended the public health emergency for COVID-19.

Masks are not a requirement on the Hill, and neither is reporting COVID-19 cases.
