WKU Student Government Association held its weekly meeting on Thursday and discussed funding for student organizations.
Senators elected to pass Bill 10-25-F, which grants funding for a multitude of on-campus organizations for the 2025-2026 school year. Each organization that applied was graded and will receive funding based on its score. Organizations included clubs and Greek organizations.
Organizations were graded based on timeliness of submitting the application, allocation quality and financial dependence.
“We ended up having 78 applications submitted,” Chief Financial Officer Gabriel Jerdon said. “They can get (up to) $500 per year, $250 a semester.”

Jerdon also said that the organizations with the lowest grade would receive a minimum of $50 for the semester.
The organizations that receive the least outside help are considered for a better score.
“If hacky sack club applied, they would not have a lot of financial dependence from anywhere else, so they would get a good score,” Jerdon said.
Organizations were graded by a group of eight people, plus Jerdon himself.
The Senate also voted to strike Bill 8-25-F, which granted funding for food pantries.
