There is currently no threat on campus after WKU Alerts reported shots fired near the Registry apartments.
Shots were reported near the Registry apartments on Old Morgantown Road, according to a WKU Alert that went out at 7:39 p.m.
A second alert went out at 7:47 p.m. reporting shots fired at Old Morgantown Road and University Boulevard. The alert said there is no active threat, but also said to avoid the area.
“We haven’t found anything yet,” Bowling Green Police Department Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward said at 7:46 p.m.
A third WKU Alert was sent at 8:11 p.m., which said there was “No threat at this time.”
“Law Enforcement is investigating the reported alleged incident,” the alert said.
